International visitation continues to grow in Tennessee and in Sevier County. October began with a visit from German travel agents who spent three days exploring Sevierville and the Smokies to learn how to better build Smoky Mountain itineraries for their clients traveling to the south. Dutch media will visit mid-October to see all Sevierville and her sister cities have to offer and tour operators from China will visit Sevierville this month.
The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce actively works with the State of Tennessee and Lofthouse Enterprises, an international destination marketing firm, to bring international visitors to Sevierville. These efforts have resulted in increased international visitation and there are plenty of opportunities for continued growth.
To learn more about how to bring international visitors to your business, RSVP for the upcoming workshop on October 4.
