Sevierville's 13th annual Bloomin' BBQ & Bluegrass festival wrapped up on May 20 and the festival survey recap shows the event drew locals and visitors alike.

  • 29% of Bloomin' BBQ & Bluegrass attendees were from Sevier County.
  • 35% live in the Knoxville DMA, but outside of Sevier Co. (Surrounding counties such as Blount, Cocke, Hamblen, etc.).
  • 10% were within Tennessee but more than a 90 minute drive from Sevierville (5% from the Tri-Cities DMA and another 5% from other parts of the state).
  • 22% of the visitors were from Out of State.

Of those from out of state, 89% Visited SPECIFICALLY to attend Bloomin' BBQ & Bluegrass.

The event drew more new attendees overall this year - 45.6% were first-time guests compared with 37% in 2016.
