Sevierville (TN) – Katie Matthews was chosen as the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Award winner
for September in appreciation of her outstanding support of Chamber events and activities. Matthews is an
area marketing specialist with SkyLand Ranch, Rowdy Bear’s FunPark, and Rocky Top Mountain Coaster.
“Katie is an outstanding supporter of the Chamber and our community,” says Sevierville Chamber of Commerce
Membership Director, Erin Cavette. “She serves on our membership committee and can be found volunteering
at nearly every event, and she goes above and beyond to keep the companies she represents at the top of visitors’ minds.”
As a thank you for her dedication, Matthews received a $100 gift
card courtesy of Tanger Sevierville and a plaque courtesy of Sign Master.
“I am grateful to receive this honor,” says Matthews. “It is a meaningful reminder that service is measured not by words, but by actions.”
Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards are presented monthly.
Recipients are considered for the Chamber Friend of the Year Award.
